Over the last weekend, Bingrong and I met up with his friends for a nature walk at MacRitchie Reservoir Park, with the aim of trekking at the HSBC Tree Top Walk. And with this being my first time, I didn’t want to give it a miss!

With his friends feeling adventurous of taking the longer route, we started off from the reservoir area itself, before begining on our loooong trek…

A quarter of the journey was along this walkway, of which I felt was interesting.

Some scenes along the way

A flower that I tried taking with my lousy P&S
Anyway, after a very very long trek, for about 3 hours, we finally reached the entrance of the Tree Top Walk!

Little did we know that we trekked a total of about 5km plus for just a 250m walk!! I was pretty tired by then, and the multiple stairs that came along with it sure did not help…

The ‘insigificant’ Tree Top Walk compared to the journey there…

My trying-to-stay-alive face

Which of course, I failed. Look at my dead tired face!!
Anyway after we completed the walk, to our horror, we had another 5km plus of distance to cover before we could reach the entrance! But while we trekked, it came to a certain point when we decided to give up, and just take the first exit that we came across, midway into our journey. As much as you could say that we are quitters, it was actually a blessing in disguise, because once we hit civilisation and went under a bus-stop, the rain came pouring down!!

hehe.. sorry but I couldn’t help but laugh at the trying-to-stay-alive face and the thereafter dead tired face.
In fact I would think you still look alright! But what you wrote was bursting~ loL~
