Road Trip: Changi Broadwalk

With the rental of the car coming to an end soon, the Boy was determined to get me to Changi Broadwalk. With that, we made our way down after having the famous nasi lemak for lunch at Changi Village.

Bingrong always said that he loved the sea, and I can understand why. With such lovely blue skies, and with the sound of the waves, one can really get lost in the serenity of the place. It’s just too bad that we aren’t there to catch the sunset or the sunrise.

And although it was a pretty short visit (one really can’t do much with just a walkway and us not fishing), I was glad that at least, we were there to enjoy a short walk together =)

Road Trip: Sentosa Flower Festival

It’s the time of the year again where Sentosa holds its yearly Flower Fiesta.

And who else was I to go with besides the Boy, whom I went with last year too, only in a different status then =P

This time round, we went with his full camera gear, and I decided to volunteer my service by helping to carry his tripod. I’m so nice, hahahaha…

While he went on to shoot with his DSLR, my puny P&S was at work too…

And that’s me with a tree of many-colour leaves! I was quite intrigued by it =)

And finally, the moment of the day – The Swans! Last year when we made our way to the exhibition, the Boy, for whatever reasons, took a picture of me in such a way that I blocked out a whole swan! Much to his amusement that is. But finally this time round, he did well, and took a pretty decent picture =)

Anyway, I’m glad we decided to go on a weekday, for it was less crowded, hence providing us with the opportunity of lining up for photo opportunities with the exhibits.

Road Trip: Henderson Waves

Our adventure never stops! =)

Beautiful waves of architecture. I never knew that it was quite high off the road, as I was filled with awe when the Boy drove past it. However, this awe was quickly taken over by worry when I realised that there was quite a steep slope to get to the bridge. Why? Because I was in high heels! Not to mention that I created lots of noise with the parquet flooring whenever I took a step.

But at least I got to create wonderful memories of the place with the Boy =)

Road Trip: Jurong Hill

Apparently our exploration of Singapore does not stop even during the festive period, as the Boy and I met up for more ‘travelling’. =)

I’m guessing this is the view of Jurong Island.

Road Trip: Marina Barrage

The Boy rented a car over this festive period. So of course, we decided to explore around Singapore. First stop, Marina Barrage.
