Meet Tigger

The playful striped cat that hangs around Hougang Mall.

As I was making my way home with the Boy, out appeared my favourite cat! Ever since Hougang Mall underwent renovations where it became more developed, I’ve ‘lost touch’ with my two favourite cats that hang around that area, namely Tiger and Marble. Tiger because of its striped coat, Marble because of the swirls that resembled a marble cake.

So I was extremely happy to see Tigger. And she was such a darling! When I called out to her like I do to any other cat, instead of running away, she came towards us! (But she actually attached herself more so to the Boy! Of which I suspected it’s because he’s of her opposite gender, haha)

Surprisingly, after all these years, she behaved like how she always did: stretching around on the ground, rubbing herself against the Boy, and purring like hell as we scratched her. It’s just a pity that Marble wasn’t around. If not, I would truly be happy to introduce to the Boy my two favourite cats =)

Footnote: You might notice that in the 2nd paragraph I named her as ‘Tiger’. But because the Boy felt that she was such a playful and gentle cat, and that ‘Tiger’ was too fierce a name for her, we decided to rename her as ‘Tigger’ =)

But anyway, somehow the Boy seems to have an affinity with kitties. Previously when we were at the park at my place, there was a black cat that constantly followed him and looked at him. And now, even Tigger ‘ditched’ me for him!
