Celebrations @ Work
It’s our dear Dorothy’s birthday today, as the rest of my colleagues and myself devised a plan to surprise her. So out we went during lunch time to buy her an Awfully Chocolate cake, hoping that she might not discover it by chance in the fridge!!
Our plan worked, as the Outpatient Vocational Training OTs called for a ‘meeting’, only to see us gatecrash with tadah! Her chocolate cake =)

And I have to say, it was really a wonderful moment for me to see the surprise look on her face. Priceless…

While the others slowly streamed into the Relaxation Room where we held our little gathering, Shirley popped in with paper craft flowers for the birthday girl. Don’t be fooled though! She had those flowers only because her patients choose not to keep it! However, it seems like Dorothy is still very happy =)

Chilling out in the Relaxation Room (proudly done up by the 3 Musketeers of Creative Ideas, which includes yours truly, haha!)

Being in the shooting mode that I always am, I somehow got a picture of the 2 Jaysons lying on the rug (with quite nice effect). That’s when the rest coerced them into acting gay – by asking Mama Bear to give Papa Bear the bouquet of paper craft flowers. We sure had a blast of a time laughing at them! =D

And here is my favourite picture of the day – A group picture of 11 of us. Pity Eunice was not here in time…
As if this wasn’t enough, Elizabeth decided to be the cute girl again, by sending Dorothy an office window message to wish her happy birthday (We’re separated into OT Office 1 and 2 by a corridor, which coincidentally, both Elizabeth and Dorothy are just by the window. And If you don’t understand what those words mean, that’s because it’s in Japanese.)

What did the courteous birthday girl do in return then? Reply the window message with her own.

So, to end it all, here’s a simple compilation of the ‘office window conversation’ between Elizabeth and Dorothy.
Happy birthday my dear girl =)
