Furniture Shopping

The last thing I would expect myself to be while working as an Occupational Therapist would be to become an ‘interior designer’ in drawing up furniture layouts for rooms, and to source for furniture. But yes, that was what I’ve been doing occasionally these past few days, with tight deadlines to meet!

So while running around Ikea, The Helping Hands and Salvation Army in search of quotations for our furniture, we finally got the green light to go ahead with the purchase of some items.

What was the amazing part of our Ikea shopping then when we finally went there after a long day? We got lost in Ikea! Yes yes, I know… How in the world can we get lost in Ikea?? But then, we just did =P Blame us for not starting out correctly at the starting point, but snake in and out as and when we saw a pathway =D

But hell, it sure was fun hanging out with Yoges and Jayson.

Especially when you get to snap pictures like this! All in a hard day’s work =P

P.S. I realised that as much as I love grocery shopping, I also love furniture shopping =) My whole house is so going to be full of Ikea’s furniture next time!
