Sail the Seven Seas

Arr me mateys…

As always, the first movie is always the best to me. There wasn’t as much of a ‘wow’ factor in the second and third sequels as compared to the first for me. Nonetheless, I must say that it was still quite enjoyable to me despite the fact that occasionally, I had difficulty catching what was conversed due to pirate language. For once, I wished that there were Chinese subtitles for me to better understand what was happening =)

Still, I wouldn’t say that it was difficult to understand what was happening. I managed to comprehend the overall gist of the story. And with some reading up online, it all makes sense now (along with unknown plot scenes not shown on-screen). Plus, I must say that the love between Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann is really bitter sweet, especially the post-credit scene (unless of course, you do know of the unknown story plot). Oh, and did I mention that the soundtrack was really lovely??

Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!

I chanced upon a lovely top.
Perfect for cold/chilly weathers or offices.

Bondi

Sydney is just filled with weekend markets, quite different from the flea markets that we have back home. Deciding to head out for the weekend, Bondi Market was the destination of choice.

As usual, you name it, they have it.

Regardless of age or gender, everyone was there perusing, wondering, shopping, buying.

Accessories – a girls’ best friend after the well-known diamond. Then again, I don’t fit the typical girl profile =D

More bags/wallets for the bag-crazed fans.

Some supposedly ‘arty’ shots of mine. I think I need more practice…

Veiled in crystals, working for all ladies.

And there you have it, two very happy and satisfied ladies =)

But what’s not to miss is the sunset scene at Bondi Beach, which was very conveniently situated beside Bondi Market.

There, you have many types of people.

You have the couple of friends enjoying each other’s company.

The beach princesses.

And the exercise babe.

And to me, this is a scene where the little girl walks towards her future as a young adolescent girl/lady, while the older ladies look on to their past as a young child. The mirror of lady’s past and future.

Anyway, all’s well that ends well. Good night Bondi.

It’s pretty fun learning how to speak and write Korean, all thanks to the software which you can download at byki.com. It features a wide range of languages which you can easily ‘grab off the shelf’ and start learning! I was hooked onto it once I started, so beware!

But still, I must say that it can be quite a headache learning how to pronounce and differentiate the various characters!
